Approved residential extension

Bloomfields’ architectural team have designed an extension to a family home in Kent, to comply with Class A Permitted Development rights. The design addresses the family’s need for an additional bedroom and more storage space by reconfiguring the existing internal layout, whilst the extension provides a desired social kitchen-dining space. The circulation has been rearranged to allow internal access to a utility / garage space, and also to allow views to the garden straight from the front door. In this case, permitted development rights required that Prior Approval be sought from the Council before any works commenced. Following the teams submission the application was supported by the local Council.
