Project Management

Bloomfields provide professional management of planning applications which involves coordinating and programming a team, often consisting of many consultants in addition to the planning coordinator. Bloomfields is independent, meaning we are able to work in close partnership with market leaders in other specialisms to achieve optimum results.

An example of this coordination involved a major planning application requiring forty three documents and reports to be collaborated with the planning application. This embraced thirteen individual consultants from a range of disciplines. This procedure was pre-agreed with the local planning authority. We identified and briefed the consultancy team, obtaining competitive quotations for their work in advance. Our project managers coordinate and monitor the team in association with the assembly and then submission of the appropriate applications to the planning authority. Often this can involve presentation to the general public to explain the proposal to the local community.

We do not prioritise our clients according to the size of the development. Each proposal is carefully considered and the management team apply the same criteria to each project. Our client portfolio has mostly been built upon recommendations, which is testament to the personal approach we take in leading clients through the planning process.
