The increase in demand for housing developments has resulted in a sharp rise in the need for planning within this area and we are ideally equipped with the skills and experience to assist with the ever growing and ever changing planning requirements.

The creation of new living environments is a challenging and varied area of planning work and following the Government’s announcement that they want 1 million new homes to be built by 2020, it is now more important than ever to seek the right advice. Bloomfields has been involved in the planning processes of a number of housing developments ranging from large scale developments, some of which involved many hundreds of new homes, through to schemes involving just a few dwellings.

On a strategic level, we have considerable experience in promoting sites through development plans and neighbourhood plans. A big part of our work involves assessing the development potential of land and developing effective planning strategies to maximise land value and promote sites.
