Bloomfields planners work closely with their clients to provide sound professional advice on the prospects of an appeal succeeding prior to progression.

Bloomfields also considers the most suitable method of appeal and offers advice accordingly. This can be based on various considerations including cost, complexity and, the nature of planning issues to be addressed. Bloomfields prepares and submits full Written Representations appeals and also acts as the expert planning witness at Hearings and Public Inquiries as appropriate. We have good relationships with Counsel and have experience of instructing suitable planning barristers. We are also happy to work with an existing team of consultants if one is already in place. We work with witnesses to ensure a co-ordinated approach is achieved. Public Inquiry work also involves the preparation of a statement of case, proof of evidence and negotiating a statement of common ground. These are all matters in which Bloomfields has experience.
