Certificate of Lawfulness for breach of tourist accommodation occupancy

Bloomfields has successfully obtained a Lawful Development Certificate which now confirms that the existing residential use and occupation of the dwellings in breach of the approved use as tourist accommodation are now the property’s recognised lawful use.

Through the presentation of compelling evidence and carefully worded Statutory Declarations, Bloomfields were able to demonstrate that the properties had been ‘in the balance of probabilities’, occupied as separate independent dwellings.

This certificate will now be carried forward into an application to remove the legal agreement and thus make the properties capable of being marketed at full and unencumbered market value.
