Our clients have been running a successful commercial storage business on land and buildings at a former agricultural site for at least the last twenty years. In order to seek confirmation from the Local Planning Authority that the business was operating lawfully, Bloomfields worked closely with our clients to review and collate a substantial body of relevant evidence and prepare and submit a Certificate of Lawful Existing Use application which demonstrated that, as required by legislation, the commercial storage had been taking place for in excess of ten years. The LPA subsequently accepted our evidence and granted the certificate accordingly.
