After successfully regularising the erection of stables on the site and the use of the wider land for equestrian purposes, Bloomfields were instructed to obtain retrospective permission for the erection of a cabin used as a day room and welfare space associated with the private equestrian use of the site.
As part of the application, Bloomfields demonstrated to the local authority that the day room was appropriate to the existing private equestrian use of the site, and that it would not be harmful to the High Weald National Landscape (formerly AONB). The Council accepted that this was the case, granting planning permission and allowing the applicants to continue to use the building.
