Erection of a detached dwelling for a long-standing client of Bloomfields

This was a successful result for a long-standing client of Bloomfields. Bloomfields secured planning permission for the construction of a self-build home within the Biggin Hill Settlement Boundary, in the often-challenging Bromley local planning authority.

Bloomfields demonstrated that the design and detailing of the proposed dwelling were appropriate for its residential setting and met the criteria for limited infilling development. The scheme was considered an acceptable form of development that respects the character of the surrounding area and does not harm the amenity of neighbouring properties.

The approval enabled the client to build a new home for their daughter, providing a comfortable and permanent residence for her and her family.
