Lawful Development Certificate and Retrospective Planning Permission secured in Maidstone

Bloomfields successfully secured both an Existing Lawful Development Certificate (LDC) and retrospective planning permission for a residential property in Maidstone.

The LDC confirmed the lawful use of the land as domestic garden land and certified the lawful status of three ancillary buildings. This was achieved through the submission of a robust evidential case that satisfied the Local Planning Authority’s requirement for clear, precise and unambiguous evidence demonstrating the established lawful use and development.

In addition, Bloomfields secured retrospective planning permission for the conversion of the ground floor of an existing garage into ancillary residential accommodation, together with associated fenestration alterations designed to enhance the functionality and appearance of the building.
