Lawful Development Certificate issued for continuous residential use of building and associated land

Bloomfields were able to assist our clients in successfully obtaining a Lawful Development Certificate which confirms the use of a detached building, originally permitted and conditioned in 2012 to be an ancillary workshop/store, and associated land as a separate independent residential dwelling.

A robust evidential case was provided to the Local Planning Authority consisting of carefully worded signed Statutory Declarations, dated photographs, aerial imagery, letters of support and other evidence which sufficiently demonstrated to the satisfaction of the Council that the building and associated land had been continuously used for the purposes specified in excess of the relevant ten year period.
