LDC For Use of a Mobile Home for Residential Purposes

Bloomfields were instructed to submit an application for a Lawful Development Certificate on behalf of our client for the continuous use of a mobile home for residential purposes on a permanent basis.

Our client had continuously occupied the mobile home for some fifteen years however there were periods within the last ten years for which there was limited evidence to prove to the Local Authority continuous occupation. The Local Authority expected evidence in the form of tenancy agreements, rent books, utility bills or other documents typically received by an occupier of a residential property. In the absence of such evidence, working closely with out client, Bloomfields were able to successfuly prove to the local Authority continuous occupation beyond the balance of probability through a combination of Statutory and Simple Declarations.
