Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent secured following our client’s previously refused applications, for the erection of a single storey side extension to a stunning twin roundel oast house. Located in close proximity to a Grade II listed building, a conservation area, and within the Metropolitan Green Belt (MGB).
The extension has been designed to maintain the character of the original oast by incorporating Kent peg tiles and a modern glazed link to provide for a modest new kitchen/dining area.
Bloomfields effectively made the case based on other historic permissions in the locality, that the proposed development would not detract from the MGB, nor the surrounding historic environment.
