Bloomfields were able to prove that a mobile home on the applicant’s site was lawfully an independent dwelling through the passage of time, having been lived in for over 10 years. Following this, Bloomfields demonstrated that an alternative location for the mobile home would have a reduced impact on the immediate and surrounding landscape features and as such were able to successfully obtain planning permission to relocate the dwelling with a defined curtilage.
