Bloomfields has obtained planning permission and listed building consent for the restoration works required to improve a historic bakery.
The bakery has been in use since 1795 and maintenance and repair works were required to conserve and preserve the Grade II listed building. Alongside these required repairs, planning permission and listed building consent was also obtained for the change of use and works to facilitate the conversion of the first floor to create a tea room.
The tea room will provide the bakery with another income stream to support its viability, and retain the integrity of the listed building.
