Retrospective permission granted for private sand school in Green Belt

Retrospective planning permission was granted by Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council for a 40m x 20m sand school for personal use at our client’s property in the Metropolitan Green Belt.

Works had commenced to form a sand school on the site that were the subject of a planning enforcement investigation by the Council therefore Bloomfields were approached by our client to prepare a planning application which successfully demonstrated that the sand school would not cause unacceptable harm to the openness of the Green Belt and permission was subsequently granted subject to conditions.
