Upwards extension and new outbuilding for property in the Green Belt

Bloomfields were able to successfully utilise Class AA Permitted Development rights to substantially enlarge a property located within the Metropolitan Green Belt by the construction of an additional storey.

Householder Permitted Development rights allow for the addition of a storey to a dwellinghouse providing that it meets a set criteria and prior approval considerations.  Bloomfields successfully designed a dwelling and demonstrated that it would meet the prior approval considerations such that it formed the 3rd Class AA application to be approved in the local authority to date.

In addition to securing an upwards extension under the provisions of Class AA, Bloomfields were also successful in obtaining a proposed Lawful Development Certificate for the erection of a large outbuilding in the garden for purposes incidental to the enjoyment of the main dwelling.
