Use of outbuilding as an annex and extension of garden

Bloomfields have gained permission for the use and alterations of an agricultural building as an annex. Bloomfields set out that the agricultural use of the building ceased more than ten years ago and the outbuildings inclusion within the garden area of a dwellinghouse as well as its ancillary use with the dwellinghouse had taken place for more than ten years. This use and inclusion within the residential garden land meant that the buildings use was now lawful and our client could propose additional external alterations to ensure that it’s annex use was fit for purpose.

Planning Permission was granted for these external alterations as well as the use of the annex and extension to the garden land, allowing our client more scope for future development at their property.
