Following on from the public consultation on the draft Local Plan last summer, the Council has committed to carrying out a second Local Plan consultation in early 2026, which will be focused largely on proposed site allocations.
To inform the second Local Plan consultation, Rother are re-advertising the ‘call for sites’. This provides a further opportunity for landowners to suggest potential sites that may be suitable for housing or employment development. If you have already submitted a site as part of the previous call for sites then you do not need to resubmit, provided details remain correct.
New sites should be submitted by 1st August 2025.
