Swale Borough Council is commencing its Local Plan Review process with a Regulation 18 public consultation which will run for 6 weeks from Monday 12th January to Monday 23rd February 2026 and will be available to view and respond to on the council’s website.
This consultation is on the first draft of the plan’s development management policies and the Council’s overarching vision and objectives, covering topics such as protecting local heritage, ensuring high-quality building design, safeguarding our natural environment and making sure new development is supported by the right infrastructure.
