An additional phase of public consultation has been opened for the Medway Council’s electoral arrangements, which is due to close on 11 January 2021. The consultation focuses on new proposals for council ward boundaries in: Darland, Hale, Hempstead, Rainham, Twydall, Watling and Wigmore. During the previous public consultation on the draft recommendations for new ward boundaries across Medway, views were listed and proposals to make changes to the plans in the areas above reflect the local evidence. Due to the significant changes made in the above areas, an extra phase is open for views.
Consultation starts 01 December 2020 and closes 11 January 2021. Medway Council welcomes comments and supporting evidence on the further draft recommendations on the above areas.
