Planning permission has been obtained for the redevelopment of a former public house, which has been redundant for a number of years and fallen into significant disrepair.
The approved scheme included the demolition of the existing building and the erection of a terrace of three family homes on the frontage of the site, with a detached property to the rear. Each house has a private garden and parking area. Due to the countryside location of the site, the layout and design of the dwellings was carefully considered to ensure that they would be readily integrated into the rural area. The proposal also included the retention and enhancement of an ecological area.
