Permission Granted For The Seasonal Storage Of Mobile Homes

Successful planning permission granted for the seasonal storage of agricultural workers mobile homes, when they are unoccupied. The case was made that the farm could utilise its permitted development rights to provide seasonal workers accommodation throughout the working season. In order to save the farm money and reduce lorry movements, permission was obtained to allow the mobile homes to be stored in situ when they were unoccupied. Despite the site being in a mixture of Flood Zones 2 and 3, the Council recognised that the storage of the mobiles was not inappropriate in flood risk terms.
