Lawful Development Certificate issued for a temporary mobile home

Maidstone Borough Council issued a Lawful Development Certificate for a mobile home to provide temporary family accommodation during the refurbishment of an existing house.  It will be stationed in the property’s garden for two years while work takes place.

The submission demonstrated the mobile home’s nature and its close relationship with the existing house, including a shared postcode and utilities. No changed to parking or access were required, further supporting the conclusion that planning permission was not needed for the proposal.
