In order to apply for grant funding to support an agricultural soft fruit enterprise, last minute permission was required to establish that water source heat pumps could be provided at the proposal sites.
Bloomfields established that the 28-day notification process would be the best route of obtaining proof to support the grant proposal due within six weeks. This prior approval procedure allowed for the principle to be established quickly, without the need for a lengthy and more drawn out planning application.
The prior notification applications at the two sites were submitted with a thorough explanation, analysis and agricultural justification for the water source heat pump requirement, alongside the improvements to crop timings and yield.
