Change of use of agricultural and office buildings to residential

Bloomfields has been working with a farmer based in the Kent area who wished to diversify his holding by including additional residential units.  We successfully obtained approvals on two separate changes of use using the Class Q and Class O permitted development rights on a Dutch barn and a small site office respectively.

Within these applications, Bloomfields provided strong supporting statements referencing the local authorities’ own policies in addition to managing the provision of topographical surveys, structural surveys and outline drawings to ensure the buildings were capable of conversion without any adverse impacts or the need for major rebuilding.
