Change of Use of Land to Equestrian

Successful planning permission achieved for a client in the Surrey Hills AONB to change the use of land from agricultural to a mixed use for both agricultural and personal equestrian purposes.  Initial communication with the LPA prevent enforcement action from being taken in favour of a swiftly submitted planning application to formalise the alleged breach. Sited within a heavily designated site, including the Green Belt as well as being within an ‘Area of Great Landscape Value’ the application raised various concerns locally, however with sensitive management, the application was duly successfully negotiated with the case officer, through regular monitoring and correspondence, to a successful outcome for the client.
