Bloomfields worked with the local planning authority to successfully negotiate a favourable issuing of a decision notice under delegated power (so without the need to go to Committee) for 24 mobile homes, a recreational hall for occupants to enjoy ‘down time’ in and the associated infrastructure including new road, parking area and comprehensive landscaping scheme. The Bloomfields team not only provided the planning statement and business justification for the proposal, but they also managed the range of consultants (including Acoustic engineers, Landscape Architects, Drainage Engineers, Ecologists and Highway Engineers) who valuably contributed to the application. Mindful of the clients need to start works without delay, Bloomfields worked to ensure there were no “Prior to commencement” conditions forming part of the decision notice. Bloomfields also prepared the Unilateral Undertaking necessary to allow the decision to be issued.
