Cold store approved for soft fruit propagation

Prior notification was sought for the erection of a 1000 square metre cold atmospheric storage facility, which was granted by the Council. The cold stores were required to provide cold store facilities for soft and top fruit as well as to store propagation cuttings and plants to mimic off season dormancy for soft fruit. The cold store will ensure that plants can be stored at the required temperatures as well as ensuring that top fruit can be stored across the extended season.
