Conversion of annex to a dwellinghouse

Planning permission has been allowed at appeal for the conversion of an existing detached annex, located within a residential property’s rear garden, to a single dwellinghouse, with a private residential curtilage and parking area.

Within the appeal, Bloomfields provided a robust case that the building provided adequate living and amenity space for the future occupants and that its use would not be detrimental to the character of the local area or neighbouring residents, which was supported by the Planning Inspector.
