Bloomfields have obtained planning permission for the demolition of some domestic outbuildings to make way for the erection of two new dwellinghouses with associated curtilage and parking areas within the rural setting of the Metropolitan Green Belt. The case was submitted that the site constituted as Previously Developed Land, thus the principle of residential development was acceptable.
The redevelopment of the site was carefully designed, working with the Local Planning Authority to ensure there was no greater impact on the openness of the Green Belt. One property was designed as a single-storey dwelling featuring glazed gables, red brick work and a clay tiled roof. The other was a two-storey dwelling and garage in the form of a converted barn.
