Our client owned a holding just over 6 ha in size producing hay, honey and lamb. The local Council tried to enforce against several matters on the site after they claimed that many of the uses / development on site did not benefit from planning permission. Bloomfields negotiated the position to avoid enforcement action being taken.
After this, Bloomfields went on to demonstrate that the applicant could justify a new barn to store agricultural machinery in, keep hay in, and use for a Hebridean sheep flock. Permission for the barn was achieved in 28 days.
