Erection of Two Commercial Units

Planning permission has been secured for the construction of two new commercial units, with mezzanine floors, within an established trading estate.

The site is adjacent to an existing drainage ditch and careful consideration was given to the proposed layout to ensure that the development would not increase flood risk elsewhere.

Prior to entering into pre-application discussions with the Local Planning Authority, a meeting was held with the Lower Medway Internal Drainage Board, due to the specific site constraints.

A robust case was presented, detailing how the proposed development would not have a detrimental impact on the area and would provide much needed employment space, without having an impact on the area, and planning permission was subsequently secured.
