New Detached Dwelling, Double Garage and Access

Bloomfields successfully obtained planning permission for the erection of a large, detached dwelling, along with new access and double garage in Matfield, under delegated powers.

Bloomfields were approached by the client to take on this case, as the site had a historic refusal of planning permission, along with a dismissed appeal for the erection of a detached property on the site. The application site is located outside of the Limits to Built Development and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A number of mature trees line the front of the site which are covered by a Tree Preservation Order.

A robust case was presented to the Council, along with significant biodiversity and landscape enhancements. The design of the proposed property was carefully considered, taking into account the requirements of our client and design influences of surrounding properties. The dwelling also incorporated renewable energy sources and an electric vehicle charging point.
