Bloomfields are pleased to announce that approval has been granted for the change of use of an unused chapel in Hurst Green to Class E use, creating a new commercial space within the village.

The chapel, originally named Our Lady Help of Christians, closed in 2008. In the years following, it was let to the Parish Council as a community café, shop, and post office. However, after eight years, it was no longer viable to operate as a community business.

The chapel has now been let as a day nursery and is scheduled to open in April 2026, bringing a new and valuable service to the Hurst Green community.
