In accordance with its adopted 2018 Local Plan, Mid Sussex District Council has now released its Site Allocations Document for public consultation which looks to identify sufficient housing sites to provide a five-year housing land supply to 2031. Mid Sussex District Council is then proposing to submit this for examination in the winter, with a view to adoption in Autumn 2021.
The Regulation 19 draft Site Allocations plan puts forward 22 housing sites and 7 employment sites across the District. It also proposes a science and technology park to be based in Burgess Hill, looking to generate a minimum of 2,500 new jobs.
Should you wish to make representations, the consultation period is open until 28th September 2020. Contact our Sussex team on email@example.com or call 01435 873999
