Bloomfields would like to inform clients with existing residential accommodation comprising 3 or more storeys that there has this month been significant changes which could provide new development opportunities at your site. Subject to a number of specific criteria, such buildings can now be increased in height by the introduction of two additional floors and up to 7 metres in additional height.
This new provision currently excludes buildings within Conservation Areas and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
