Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council have re-opened the ‘call for sites’ as part of an evidence gathering process for their Local Plan. This provides a further opportunity for landowners to suggest potential sites that may be suitable for housing or employment development, or for other uses that could provide benefits to communities. It also provides an opportunity for those who have previously promoted sites to update related details, including changes to site submission boundaries.

If you have already submitted a site as part of a previous call for sites exercise and require no changes to be made to the submission, then you do not need to resubmit your site or do anything further if the details provided remain correct. Such sites already form part of the Council’s Land Availability Assessment.

Site submissions can be made until 5pm on 26th March.

The Council advise they are

“particularly interested to hear about potential sites for development, re-use or redevelopment in our towns and villages, or on land that is previously developed (brownfield land)”.

Bloomfields would be pleased to offer its services to you and your clients in actively promoting your site(s), so please do not hesitate to contact Director, Tom Ogden, who is based at our Paddock Wood office to discuss your requirements in the first instance. Tom can be reached on 01892 831600, alternatively you can send a plan to info@bloomfieldsltd.co.uk marked FAO Tom Ogden.
