A Lawful Development Certificate application for the existing residential use of a former agricultural building and adjacent land, within an established farmstead was recently certified by the Borough Council.

The application was submitted with robust evidence to sufficiently demonstrate that the building and adjacent land had been used continuously for residential purposes. Thus, the residential use of the building is now lawful.
