Conversion of Public House to a 5-Bedroom Dwelling in Sevenoaks

This scheme related to a large redundant Public House in Sevenoaks with an existing permission for a further extension. Despite its designation as an Asset of Community Value and location within the Metropolitan Green Belt (MGB), Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), Special Landscape Area (SLA), and adjacent to a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Bloomfields were able to carefully construct an application that justified the conversion and obtained a permission.

Bloomfields presented detailed marketing evidence which satisfied the Council that the use of the Public House was no longer viable, and that the proposed residential dwelling would be in keeping with the character of the area, conserve and enhance the AONB, preserve the openness of the Green Belt and preserve amenity levels in the area.
