Bloomfields have successfully secured planning permission for the change of use of the industrial premises to enable a new manufacturing process to operate from the site.
The new owner was already operating from the site in breach of the planning conditions which controlled both the operator and industrial use of the site. Bloomfields were able to successfully demonstrate that the new use was appropriate in this rural location and would not be harmful to the amenities of the area including to adjoining neighbouring residential properties.
By securing planning permission, Bloomfields have retained a light industrial use at the site, continuing to help support a prosperous rural economy and provide job opportunities in the locality.
Furthermore, permission has secured the use of the site for the applicant, removing the potential for any enforcement action to be taken against them.
