Planning permission granted for new commercial unit in National Landscape

Bloomfields have successfully secured planning permission for the change of use of a former seasonal workers’ accommodation located in the High Weald National Landscape to enable commercial uses falling within Use Class E to operate from the building.

Bloomfields were able to successfully demonstrate that the proposed use would not result in harm to the character and countryside of the National Landscape or have an unacceptably harmful impact on the amenity of the area in terms of noise or disturbance.

By securing planning permission, Bloomfields have added to the range of existing commercial buildings on the wider site for our client, continuing to help support a prosperous rural economy and provide job opportunities in the locality.
