| Bloomfields has secured the change of use and conversion of a vacant mixed use retail and residential Grade II Listed building within a historic village centre, into a single family dwelling. The information presented with the application demonstrated how the retail unit had been vacant for a prolonged period of time and had been marketed for alternative uses without success. Whilst located within a designated retail centre, where loss of such uses can often be resisted, we proved to the Council that the sensitive conversion and reconfiguration of the building into a single dwelling would be the most appropriate to ensure its long term future would be secured. |
