Bloomfields have successfully secured planning permission for the conversion of an agricultural building into a residential dwelling, to provide the applicants with a high-quality, highly sustainable residential dwelling to meet their needs.
Bloomfields were able to demonstrate via a structural survey that the building is substantial and of robust construction, being capable of conversion without significant rebuilding and/or modifications. Furthermore, that it is in a sustainable location where additional dwellings should be supported and moreover that the design conserves the appearance of the rural building and its setting within the High Weald National Landscape.
The permission followed a comprehensive and constructive pre-application process with Wealden District Council which followed through to constructive dialogue with Officers during the application process. The results of which is that the applicant has a sustainable dwelling, specifically designed to meet their family need now and into the future.
