Successful Planning Fee Negotiation

Our client was informed by their local Council that the planning application fee would be just short of £9,000.  Bloomfields prepared a rebuttal case to argue the fee should be substantially less and after some negotiation with the Council it was agreed that the fee would be £1,300.  This was a good example of where a well compiled legal argument and engagement with the Council yielded sensible results. We credit the officers at Tonbridge and Malling for revisiting the application, giving our case its full consideration and for their pragmatic approach in revising their position.
