Mid Sussex District council have just opened their Regulation 18 consultation on their draft Mid Sussex District Plan 2021-2039 which is to run a six week period from 7th November to 19th December 2022.
The Mid Sussex District Plan 2014-2031 was adopted in March 2018 and as required by national policy, Local Plans must be reviewed and updated as necessary every five years. The Mid Sussex District Plan 2021-2039 aims at achieving the adopted vision and strategic objectives while implementing a revised strategy to guide growth during the plan period. It provides updated and new policies to ensure that the Plan remains effective and in accordance with National Policy. It also includes new housing allocations to meet identified housing needs.
