Class R change of use from a glass house to storage and distribution

Bloomfields Chartered Town Planners are pleased to have secured permission for a Class R change of use, allowing the conversion of a former glasshouse to a storage and distribution use.

The glasshouse, previously used as part of a commercial garden centre nursery, was successfully demonstrated to fall within the permitted development rights afforded to agricultural buildings, as it was used for plant growing and propagation.

This application has enabled an underutilised building on a wider commercial site to be brought back into productive use.
