Bloomfields have successfully secured planning permission and listed building consent for the conversion and change of use of restaurant into two dwellings.

Bloomfields were able to demonstrate that the restaurant did not play such an important role in sustaining the village community that its loss would cause harm to that aim.

Moreover, through historic analysis of the building’s evolution, Bloomfields were able to propose works for its conversion which ensured that minimal historic fabric be altered, and that the legibility of the building, especially its historic core, remain unaffected.

The permission will now allow the applicant to retire from the restaurant.
