Replacement outbuilding granted permission in sensitive location

Following the refusal of two previous planning applications and a dismissed appeal for a similar development at this site which lies in the Metropolitan Green Belt, a designated Conservation Area and within the curtilage of a listed building, Bloomfields were approached to provide a fresh take on matters.

By working with a wider consultant team and scrutinising the previous reasons for refusal, a scheme was devised for a replacement outbuilding in this sensitive location which was ultimately deemed as acceptable by the Local Planning Authority, and planning permission was subsequently granted providing our clients with a much-improved ancillary space to enjoy.
