Successful application for extension of existing commercial premises

Successful application for the extension of existing commercial premises to accommodate the expanding storage requirements of the business.

Bloomfields had previously gained approvals for two other storage units on the site, this application was for additional storage as the business is expanding and needs further storage space.

The design and appearance of the building was proposed so as to be in keeping with previously approved storage buildings built on site and designed in the same way.  Bloomfields successfully demonstrated within the application how the provision of a new commercial building on the site would not impact upon the character and appearance of the site and its wider setting, or the amenity of neighbouring occupiers, whilst allowing the business to grow and succeed in a sustainable manner.

Bloomfields obtained approval for the application in December last year and are now subsequently working with our clients to discharge pre-commencement planning conditions to allow development to commence on site.
