Prior approval not required for a replacement Tractor Shed

Prior approval was not required by Maidstone Borough Council for the construction of a replacement tractor shed as well as the necessary groundworks to level the land at a large soft fruit farm.  Our client wished to replace two substandard existing sheds with a larger purpose built modern agricultural storage building.  This application sought this in a position of two existing buildings in order to maximise efficiency for the farm and minimise any potential impacts on residential amenity.  Bloomfields successfully demonstrated this requirement and prior notification was approved.
